Players who tryout for the Women's Florida WAVE teams should have exhausted ALL of their collegiate eligibility OR they are not planning to use their collegiate eligibility in the future!
Pre-registration will close on Fri, Feb. 20. At that time, the registration fee will increase to $40 online and will alos be $40 for any walk-up registration on the day of the tryout. The Florida Region will offer no refunds after Feb. 20, 2015 at 5PM*. *Full refund is available in the event of an injury or illness with doctor's note.
All athletes at the event must have a USAV membership. If athlete does not already have one, a one-day membership will be available for an additional fee.
Check-in will start one hours before each tryout! An athletic trainer will be available before the tryout.
Results for the tryout will be posted on the Florida Region website. The coach will post a training team roster from the tryout AND other players the coaching staff has contacted to play on teams. These players will be placed on the training team roster as well.
The Florida WAVE Women's team will have an exhibition match in May of 2015.
The PVL Championships will take place in Detroit, MI, May 23-26.
The coaching staff may schedule practices before and/or after the exhibition match leading to the PVL Championships. The coaching staff will contact players on their training rosters with their individual team practice schedule. A final travel roster will be determined by each coach for the trip to the PVL Championships.
